Who we are
At Artham, we trust that healing isn’t about rushing to solutions; it’s about creating space to pause, reflect, and grow. We offer a compassionate and non-judgmental environment where stories are held with care, and individuals are empowered to navigate their journeys authentically.
Our Vision
To create a world where emotional well-being is not an afterthought but a foundation - a world where every story is held with care, and every individual feels seen, heard, and deeply valued.
Our Mission
At Artham, we offer empathetic, trauma-informed, and holistic mental health support. We hold space for your healing gently, respectfully, and without judgment so that growth and resilience can emerge from within.
Our Guiding Principles
Confidentiality: Your story stays safe with us.
Respect: Every journey is unique, and we honor your pace.
Integrity: Our work is grounded in honesty and authenticity.
Empathy: We strive to meet you where you are with compassion.
Meet your Therapist!
I’m Ashmita founder of Artham, counselling psychologist, and a firm believer in our incredible human capacity to untangle even the most knotted parts of ourselves; whether it’s emotions, memories, or the quiet stories we carry within.
With an MSc. in Counselling Psychology from CHRIST (Deemed to be University) and a PG Diploma in Trauma-Focused Therapy from TISS, my work is grounded in presence, attunement, and a deep respect for the mind-body connection. I approach therapy with curiosity, compassion, and the belief that healing isn’t linear but it is possible.
Outside the therapy room, you'll often find me curled up with a book, singing (usually with full dramatic flair!), squeezing my ridiculously cuddly dog, or dreaming up my next little escape to a new place. I value depth, but I also love lightness, and that balance is something I try to carry into the way I live, relate, and hold space for others.

I believe therapy is never one-size-fits-all. Every person's story is unique, and my approach is tailored to your individual needs, experiences, and goals.
My work is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing from Trauma-Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Person-Centered Therapy, Somatic Work, and Arts-Based Approaches to support healing in ways that feel meaningful and sustainable.
I offer therapy in English, Hindi, and Malayalam, and strive to create a space that is compassionate, collaborative, and free of judgment.
